These were encouragements from last year. (Click on image to enlarge.)
My life revolves around believing God for everything; believing for miracles, believing for provision, believing for more of the things of the Kingdom, believing He has great purpose for you – even when your natural eyes and mind don’t see anything. We need to be spiritually minded and see with the eyes of our hearts. We have not because we don’t ask for it. I want everything I can receive from God, it is my Daddy’s good pleasure to give me the Kingdom. BELIEVE! Even when it seems impossible.
Until you know what true love is, your perception is very limited. It isn’t what Hollywood portrays or the intense feelings that wax and wane like ocean waves; falling in and out of love, and it is not whatever feels good in the moment (♥what’s love got to do with it or love the one you’re with♥ – ha!). Love does integrate deep and extraordinary emotions, but it is so much more.
We just have to look at scripture to begin to understand love’s depth, for us and this world. First of all, “God is love” and it is all actualized in Him. He is the ultimate essence of what it means to love and be loved.
“God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son” – His love is so great that He sacrificed the one thing closest to His heart. And He defines pure love in 1 Corinthians 13:
4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
Most of us can go through our entire lives without knowing the Father’s personal love for us. We know about Him, but we cannot comprehend the unlimited measure of His love and grace for us is. Really, it only comes by spending time with Him, and asking Him to reveal how He feels about you. In His Presence we change, we grow, we transform.
Won’t you ask today for His Love to be showered upon you, and that you would be enveloped in His arms of love. Ask Him what His favorite thing about you is (what He loves).
“Lord, I am asking to see, feel, taste, and know your love. I want to know it for myself. I want it more than life itself. Surround me, envelop me, hold me close. I want all that you have for me. I don’t truly know what your love is, but I want You to reveal it to me. I love you Daddy, I want you, I want to know You more. I need Your love.”
Be sure to visit and have a little reading for this long weekend.
This summer I am setting aside the entire months of June and July to finish projects and start some new ones. First thing is the redecorating/remodel of our kitchen. It is so dated and needs an uplift. I was totally inspired when I went to IKEA last week and came up with this general concept…all things I can do (with a little help of course). I love the farmhouse sink, counter tops, shelving, drawer pulls – all from IKEA.
Of course there are all kinds of projects you can begin with the simplest purchased items from IKEA, I think I may try some of these myself. Here are a few below: click on the pictures to get a full view.

When I stumble across this birthday crown on Pinterest, I fell in love with it. Linda Albrecht of Maya Road makes these and it is featured on her site. Since both of my granddaughters have birthdays in May, I thought it would be a perfect surprise on their special day (making them myself of course). They could keep them as treasures for years to come and remember their Nannie.
