With All My Heart I Am Determined to Know Him

My heart cries out to know Him more deeply and intimately, to know Him in new ways that I’ve never known Him before.  Isn’t that the purpose of having a relationship with the One Who saved us unto Himself?  I am determined to find out more, He is a universe of wonders -our hearts should have no other purpose.  Make yourself available to understand His heart and ways.

Angel of FinanceThis is the original painting I did several years ago after an encounter with an angel…the angel of finance.  He was pouring out anointing and prosperity onto the saints who were open to receive  blessings from the Father.  There was no limit to the goodness that God wanted to supply, it was only belief that His unlimited resources were also part of your destiny and use for the kingdom. Do you believe today for more than you could ever ask or think – of the pouring out of God’s riches into your life?  “The blessing of the Lord makes one truly rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”  Proverbs 10:22

Live Every Day to the Fulness

A page from my journal today:

Last Saturday could have been my last…I was taken to emergency where they had to stop my heart and restart it again, absolutely no guarantee that it would work.  My son, Peter, was watching the monitor and saw my heartbeat flatline only to come back seconds later.  When I was under the anesthesia I had a vision of this long, long road and all kinds of people were coming out to greet me and love on me.  Then I woke up.  This was all due to stress and not paying attention and taking care of me.  I do many things for others and tend to neglect important every day things in my life.  Lesson learned.  I’ve had to really rest this week and contemplate what I need to do next.

One thing from this experience that I feel strongly about is that my life is truly in His hands.  We need to listen to the Holy Spirit speaking to us the smallest things, mostly because He is practical and His wisdom is always the truth.  I really feel that my experience was a life changer and I have a new perspective on everything around me…the most important things!  It makes me think of this scripture:

“but you ignore the more important aspects of your [life]—justice, mercy, and faith….. do not neglect the more important things.”  Matthew 23:23 (paraphrased by me)

Obviously, the more important thing for me is to rest and wait on Him, he will restore my heart…I expect a miracle.  Live life to the fullest in Him.

Tidbits of My World Last Week

Living the Good Life

This past week was “normal”, meaning busy and complex and hot, not to mention fun!  I thought I’d photo journal parts of my life for you, hopefully the interesting parts.

Sac River

My little travel buddies, I should have named them Thelma and Louise.

Driving, driving, driving….this week I felt like I lived in my car.  Earlier this week I went to Davis, California and back on business, then to visit with my family in Santa Rosa, then back to Chico.  I got an early start because of the heat…102 degrees and generally doesn’t cool down much at night.  So the mellow coolness of Sonoma County was like a weather vacation, fabulous!

Little Side Trip to Healdsburg

Waiting for my dinner, eating outside in a mellow 82 degrees.

Dinner, yum!

Sign in a window that made me laugh!
Window shots

More window shopping, most of the shops were closed on this Sunday evening.

Plants here need lots of water, but with water restrictions I can only plant a few small beds.

Gardenias, so fragrant and luscious.

Mostly wildflowers and volunteers

yardWith the drought in California, it really is tough to keep the lawns green, especially this large.

Off to the fair working my business. My booth was outside, the sun beat down so intensely, but got the beginning of my summer tan.  These cowboys came by and I had to get a fun pose.
Hot NikkiPoor Nikki, suffering in the heat even with the air conditioning on.  I went and got her completely shaved and she looks like a totally different dog.

This is only the beginning of a new week and we are looking forward to our family reunion on Saturday.

Life never stops but we need to stop and praise God for His goodness…there is reward for working hard and spending time with those we love.  Have a great week and stay cool.
